In a follow up to the Oxbow Naturalist course, Ecology 101, this course will dive deeper into the many interconnected relationships of Florida’s wildlife and their habitats. With interactive games and guided field excursions you’ll gain skills in decoding signs of wildlife and learn how different natural communities have shaped the adaptations of Florida wildlife.  The first step in helping to protect wildlife is understanding how and what they need to survive.  In addition, this course will highlight some citizen science opportunities in which you can assist in tracking and monitoring wildlife, all of which will help to manage and protect species in need. With live animal exhibits and a 225 acre preserve to explore, learning has never been so fun!

$30 for one course or take the whole Oxbow Naturalist series for $100. Free for registered Oxbow volunteers. Ages 15 and up.
