Here in St. Lucie County, the Board is embracing technology and not just with our website. In recent years, we've been moving forward on green designs and construction of new buildings; working with local and global companies to focus on improving our sustainability and seeking out alternative ideas to improve the environment, as well as create better jobs for our residents.

At the same time, St. Lucie County has taken great steps to preserve our 100-plus year history and heritage. Through a voter approved referendum, County Commissioners have secured more than 11,000 acres of environmentally sensitive lands that is used for conservation and passive recreation, in addition to offering more than 2,300 acres of active parks and beaches.

Just like our website, St. Lucie County is always evolving, moving forward to provide a better experience for residents, tourists and businesses.
