Beyel Bros. is working with a Utility Company, contracted by the Bahamas to

restore power that was lost due to Hurricane Matthew.

Currently they have focused their efforts on shipping 50 utility trucks to Nassau.

The estimated load for this initial shipment is approximately 750 tons.  Beyel Bros. and the Utility Contractor both have teams in the Port at Nassau, ready to receive the shipment.

Beyel has worked with U.S. Customs and Border Protection to expedite the shipment, due to the urgent need.

The vessels that are being used are U.S. based;  the tug boat Daniel Beyel and the Kaylee Frances, a U.S. based certified ABS barge, 200’ x 55’ with a 3000 gross ton capacity.

Beyel Bros. anticipates additional services with possible supplies and shipments of power poles, tools, medical supplies, water, and other essentials to Nassau, Freeport/Grand Bahamas, and Andros.
