St. Lucie County Marine Safety is an Advanced Lifesaving agency according to the United States Lifesaving Association (USLA) and follows the open water guidelines offered by the USLA.
As the first line of defense between the ocean and our patrons, our Marine Safety Officers strive to make our beaches a safe and relaxing place to bring family and friends. Please do not hesitate to make contact with one of our Marine Safety Officers if there is a problem. Our goal is to prevent incidents and injuries from occurring. Remember "Always swim near a lifeguard."
