Friday, October 7, 2011 - St. Lucie County, Other Agencies To Hold Auction Oct. 15

St. Lucie County, along with several other government agencies, will hold an auction of surplus vehicles and equipment on Saturday, Oct. 15 at the St. Lucie County Compound, 3701 Oleander Ave., starting at 10 a.m.

More than 50 vehicles will be available for purchase, including GMC Sonomas, Ford Crown Victorias, Ford F-150s, Chevrolet Monte Carlos, Polaris Hawkeye 4-wheelers and others. Everything sells to the highest bidder, regardless of price, and items are sold “as is, where is.” The auction will be held rain or shine.

The items up for auction are surplus equipment and vehicles from the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners, Fort Pierce Utilities Authority, St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, Indian River County Sheriff’s Office and the Manatee Observation and Education Center.
