May 5, 2006 - Growth Management Dept. to Host North Jenkins Road Public Workshop

St. Lucie County Growth Management Department will hold a public workshop to present a draft land use and transportation plan for the area bounded by Angle Road, Kings Highway and Orange Avenue in Fort Pierce. The workshop will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 11 at Westwood High School located at 1801 Panther Lane (off Angle Rd.) in Fort Pierce.

The draft land use and transportation plan is the result of workshops and meetings with public officials, residents, property owners and interested parties in the study area. Community input at the workshop will be utilized in the preparation of a final report and recommendations to the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners.The final report will set forth the community's vision and planning strategies to guide future growth and development in the planning area. All interested parties are invited to attend.
