March 2, 2006 - St. Lucie County Receives Necessary Permit Extensions for Emergency Dune Restoration Project
Today, St. Lucie County received the necessary state and federal permits to continue work on sand replacement on South Hutchinson Island. The County's contractor, Dickerson of Florida, Inc., will continue work on the dunes tomorrow, March 3, and work is expected to be completed by the end of next week. All permitting agencies involved have worked diligently and hand-in-hand with the County to expedite the permitting extension process. For more information, call (772) 462-1791.
