January 6, 2006 - Cold Weather Shelter to Open Tonight and Saturday Night in St. Lucie County

St. Lucie County will open a Cold Weather Shelter at Fort Pierce Community Center, located at 600 North Indian River Drive, Friday and Saturday nights. The shelter will open at 7 p.m. this evening and close at 7 a.m. tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 7; reopening Saturday evening at 7 p.m. and closing Sunday morning at 7 a.m. All guests will need to check in by 11 p.m. A meal and blankets will be provided.
