June 7, 2005 - Indian River Drive Re-Opens to Local Traffic

Indian River Drive between Midway Road and Walton Road has re-opened to residents. The washout that occurred was repaired over the weekend. The road is still closed to the public until the Phase II Revegetation Project is complete. Officials expect the Revegetation Project to be complete by the end of September.

Although the Revegetation Project began on June 1, residents of Indian River Drive may still sign the license agreement to participate in Phase II of the project.
