November 1, 2007 - Lakewood Park Library Offers Woodcarving Series Nov. 13

The Lakewood Park Branch Library will be hosting a three-part woodcarving workshop for beginners, starting Tuesday, Nov. 13.

This workshop will be instructed by Joe Miller, a local woodcarver, and will be held on three consecutive Tuesday evenings, Nov. 13, 20 and 27 from 5-8:30 p.m.

Each participant will carve a Santa Claus Christmas ornament. This workshop requires a very small materials fee and is open to the public. Attendance is limited to 15 people.  Registration is required and will be on a first-come, first–served basis.
