Friday, May 2, 2008 - Oxbow Presents Butterflies May 10
Just in time for Mother's Day, learn about one of Mother Natures' most beautiful and fascinating insects, the butterfly. Visit the Oxbow Eco-Center on Saturday, May 10 from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. to learn about butterfly biology, behaviors, and habitat. Participants will make a butterfly craft, play games and build their very own butterfly habitat. Please bring a washed one-gallon plastic jug.Cost is $3 per person. Tickets must be purchased in advance in the gift store or by calling (772) 785-5842. All ages welcome.
The Oxbow Eco-Center is St. Lucie County's Environmental Learning Center situated on 225 acres along the St. Lucie River, located at 5400 N.E. St. James Drive, 1-1/2 miles south of Midway Road in Port St. Lucie - across from the Publix Shopping Center.
