Thursday May 8, 2008 - Hearing Loss Association Presents "The Myth Busters of Hearing Loss" at the Fort Pierce Library on May 20

The Treasure Coast Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) will present "The Myth Busters of Hearing Loss" at the Fort Pierce Branch Library on Tuesday, May 20 at 6:30 p.m.

Is that noise all in your head? If you have hearing loss in both ears, do you need two hearing aids? Can you wait longer until your hearing loss is greater before seeking actual help? There are many myths about hearing and hearing loss and this program will shed light on which facts are truths and which facts are myths.

HLAA is the nation's foremost membership and advocacy organization for people with hearing loss with 250 chapters throughout the country. Advantages of membership in HLAA include education, support and advocacy.

The program is free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
