Wednesday, March 30, 2011 - Oxbow Presents Coloring Eggs With Natural Dyes April 9

Make your own one of a kind holiday eggs, using only what you can find in your yard or pantry at the Oxbow Eco-Center’s Nature for Families program on Saturday, April 9 from 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 pm.

You can have a great time creating your own rainbow of eco-dyes using fruits, vegetables, spices and even coffee. Please remember to bring one dozen hard boiled eggs to create your stunning pieces of “Art d’oeuf.”

This program is appropriate for ages 5 and up and is designed to involve parents and children in natural discovery. Admission is $3 per participant and reservations are a must.
