Former County Commissioners

St. Lucie County Commissioners serve four-year terms. Although Commissioners must reside in the districts they represent, they are chosen by a county-wide vote. The five-member board is chosen in two cycles, staggered by two years, with Districts 1, 3 and 5 running in one cycle and Districts 2 and 4 in the other.

The first County Commissioners were: W.R. Hardee, K.B. Raulerson, J.F. Bell, R.D. Holmes, P. Kroegel. The following is an alphabetical list of all those who have served as a St. Lucie County Commissioner since it's incorporation in 1905:
