8th Annual Safety Festival

The mission of the Safety Festival is to showcase the outstanding work being done by our local First Responders and to provide important safety information to those who attend.

Live demonstrations have proven to be a favorite of attendees. They are exciting, informative and demonstrate some of the tools and safety protocols available in St. Lucie County. The Port St. Lucie Police and St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office are working on SWAT, K-9, Bomb Disposal and Motorcycle demonstrations. They will also have drones, a driving simulator and robotics as part of their static and touch-a-truck displays.

The Fun Run will kick off the Safety Festival activities with registration at 7:00 am followed by the run at 7:30 am. Vendors, food trucks, touch-a-trucks and other displays will be open at 9:00 am and the event will end at 2:00 pm. Admission and parking are free.

In addition, a free kid's zone featuring bounce houses, face painting and more will be open throughout the event. Over 100 vendors and food trucks are expected to participate this year with many featuring free educational and safety information. First Responder's will display some of their equipment and personnel will be available to available to answer any questions.

WPBF TV 25 will also be onsite with many of their News Anchors and Reporters. Their talented staff has participated in every Safety Festival and enjoy interacting with local residents and other attendees. They are all available for photos and will gladly answer your questions.

Participating agencies have included the Port St. Lucie Police Department, Air Methods, St. Lucie Public Schools, St. Lucie County Sheriff, St. Lucie County Public Safety, Emergency Management, Environmental Resources, St. Lucie County Fire District, Safer St. Lucie, Fish and Wildlife, Florida Division of Forestry, Florida Department of Health in St. Lucie County, Coast Guard Auxiliary, American Red Cross, Martin Health-Cleveland Clinic, Seacoast Bank, City of Port St. Lucie, St. Lucie County, Blood One, Southern Eagle Distributing, Peter W. Busch Family Foundation, Toyota Center of Stuart, Education Foundation St. Lucie and more.
