A public meeting to discuss construction of this 3.4 mile beach renourishment project is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. at the Nettles Island West Recreation Hall, 9801 S. Ocean Drive in Jensen Beach. In-person seating is limited, so all association managers are encouraged to organize in-person representatives. Masks and social distancing are encouraged. Reservations should be sent by emailing revordjo@stlucieco.org. A virtual option of the meeting will be available for those unable to attend in person. While the pumping of sand on the beach isn’t expected to begin until March 19, residents should be aware that land surveying and vibratory monitoring (small seismic recording units temporarily placed in/or around condominiums) will begin soon. This renourishment project is anticipated to be complete before April 30.
