The Beach Basket program is a marine clean up initiative coming to St. Lucie County through Coastal Connections, Inc in conjunction with the Environmental Resources Department and Parks & Recreation. The initial pilot consists of 3 stations (Pepper Park, Blind Creek, Dollman Beach) monitored for a period of 6 months. 

If this program is determined successful and cost-effective at engaging residents and visitors in beach cleanups, following the six-month pilot program, St. Lucie County’s Environmental Resources and Parks & Recreation Departments will look to expand this program to other beach parks throughout St. Lucie County.
