Come enjoy this two-hour hike through a gorgeous prairie hammock while learning about some of Florida's iconic mammals. We will discuss the Florida panther and their favorite prey, the white-tailed deer. We will also discuss critical conservation efforts attempting to sustain populations in to the future.

Based on current best practices, and because we cannot always guarantee safe social distancing during our hikes or paddles, masks are recommended on one of St. Lucie County Environmental Resources Department’s Guided Nature Programs. 

Programs are designed for participants age 12 and older unless otherwise noted; an adult must accompany all minors. Space is limited, and reservations are required.
