The 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act (the “ADA”), as amended, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, are the civil rights statutes that provide individuals with disabilities equal access to employment, education, state and local government programs and services, businesses, telecommunications, and public transportation.  St. Lucie County Area Regional Transit is required to make reasonable accommodations with regard to practices, and procedures to avoid discrimination and to ensure that our programs are accessible to individuals with disabilities in order to ensure equal access for all individuals.

Upon request, St. Lucie County Area Regional Transit will provide appropriate aids and services for eligible persons with disabilities.

Any individual who believes that he or she has been denied the benefits of, excluded from participation in, or subject to discrimination on the basis of their disability may file a formal complaint with St. Lucie County Area Regional Transit.  Please be sure to include your name, address and how to contact you (phone number, email address etc.)  Complaints are documented, logged, and tracked for investigation.  Once the investigation is completed, the customer will be notified of the outcome of the investigation.
