Are you an explorer at heart? Does following the trail to see where it leads sound like your kind of adventure? Join us for a day hike through one of St. Lucie County’s largest preserve areas! In addition to discovering wildlife tracks along the trail, we’ll be watching for various species of sparrow, larks, raptors, and of course, one of the upland’s most famous residents, the Gopher Tortoise. Blooming wildflowers and grasses provide splashes of color as we journey through this amazing environment. **Participants must be able to walk up to 8 miles on uneven ground, with exposure to weather, heat, biting insects and will NOT be permitted on the hike without a water bottle.**
