The Communications Division of the county's Administration Department is tasked with providing up-to-date information about all Board of County Commission happenings and events to both the residents of St. Lucie County and area media outlets. Through press releases, public services announces, the County's website, social media and government access channel (SLCTV - Comcast 28 and U-Verse 99), the staff generates publicity for all departments from programs at the libraries to events at the Oxbow Eco-Center.

In addition to producing monthly original programs, the SLCTV staff televises Board of County Commission meetings and workshops, as well as meetings for the Code Enforcement Board and Planning & Zoning Board. These meetings are broadcast live on SLCTV and online via SLCTV's website. All meetings and original programs are archived and available for purchase on DVD or for viewing online via the Video on Demand service through the SLCTV website.
