There are more than 45,661 students in St. Lucie County’s public schools with a student-teacher radio of 23 to 1. The school district oversees more than 50 elementary schools, K-8 schools, middle schools and high schools. St. Lucie County high schools have had a graduation rate of 91. 5 percent in recent years.
More than 89.1 percent of our residents are high school graduates, while nearly 35 percent have a bachelor’s degree or higher.
