The event will feature all things Safety related:  home, driver, water, bike, pedestrian, pet, ID, school, hurricane safety and more.

The event will include displays and demonstrations by local First Responders and include:  the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, St. Lucie County Fire District, Florida Fire Marshall’s Association, Port St. Lucie Police, Ft. Pierce Police, St. Lucie Mets, Fish and Wildlife, St. Lucie Safety Coalition, St. Lucie County Schools, United Veterans, Emergency Services, Blood Mobile and many others. 

It will include SWAT Team and K-9 demonstrations, a burn unit-fire demonstration, a kids zone, arts/crafts, food/drink, vendors and more.  The first 1000 kids will receive a free beach ball.   

Set up for the event will be 7am-9am.  The Safety Event will be open 9-2pm.  A St. Lucie Mets baseball game will follow at 6:30pm.  The event will be held in conjunction with the SLC  Family Reading Festival.
