A new after-school science adventure series takes place at the Oxbow on the second Tuesday of each month at 3:30 p.m. December through May. Students will explore the incredible world of insects through hands-on “construction” projects. The Dec. 13 program focuses on antennae and sight. How does it feel to know what's going on all around you without having to turn your head? Make a pair of insect-eye glasses and antennae and find out.The cost is $25 for the five-part series or $6 for an individual session. Appropriate for ages 7-12, reservations are required: 772-785-5833 or oxbow@stlucieco.org.
