Learn about the natural history of Florida including its formation and geological history as we travel through Scrub habitat, one of the earliest ecosystems in Florida. We will also traverse the lesser traveled north trail to explore a floodplain hammock. Note: A few steep slopes are present which may be difficult for some hikers.

Programs are usually limited to 15 people helping to allow participants to immerse themselves into the county’s beautiful natural areas. Programs target ages 12 and older unless otherwise noted.  All minors must be accompanied by an adult.  Proper footwear and water are required for all programs, and please leave pets at home.
