Oxbow Eco-Center invites children 18 months to 5 years and their caregivers to “Little Acorns” nature play sessions! Little Acorns will meet for an hour on Thursdays at 10am and at 11:30am starting in October. Class dates and times are listed at www.OxbowEco.com.
During each unique session, children and families will explore nature surrounding the Eco-Center and practice child-led play in an environment that fosters developmental skills. Sessions are hosted by an experienced childhood nature play leader and include stories, nature art, mud play, scavenger hunts, insect observations, wind play, and more! Cost per child is $8 per class. Pre-registration is required by calling the Oxbow Eco-Center; space is limited for this unique opportunity. Limited scholarships are available. Registration opens September 6, 2022 for October through December classes, and December 6, 2022 for January through May classes.
