This four-week program teaches residents horticulture skills and how to turn those skills into a new business. The series takes place every Wednesday from Sept. 28 through Oct. 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sunshine Kitchen. Admission is $65 per person. Participants will learn how to select, plant and grow vegetables along with details such as irrigation, pest control and harvesting. The course will also cover how to start and grow your business, including planning, record keeping, time management, marketing and funding.
