Volunteer positions are available in animal care, photography, education, marketing, coral gardening and more. There is truly something for everyone. To give guests a better understanding of the exhibits, a feeding tour will be offered at 4:30 p.m. and a behind-the-scenes tour will be offered at 5 p.m. Light snacks and refreshments will be available. Staff and current volunteers will be on hand to chat with potential volunteers in a casual atmosphere. Most volunteer opportunities require a three-hour per week minimum commitment for two months and anyone 16 years and older considering volunteering is welcome to attend. 

The Aquarium features dynamic aquarium displays of six Florida marine ecosystems, a touch tank, several microscope displays and a variety of engaging interpretive displays, which will provide potential volunteers with an excellent opportunity to learn more about our local marine life.
