With federal funding through the American Rescue Plan, St. Lucie County will be adding amenities to improve the drainage and water quality in and around Ancient Oak Preserve/Weldon B. Lewis Park, located at 4650 Oleander Ave. in Fort Pierce, and the Indrio Savannahs Preserve, located at 5275 Tozour Road in Fort Pierce.

The public workshop for the Ancient Oak Preserve/Weldon B. Lewis Park project will be held on Tuesday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m., while the workshop for the Indrio Savannahs Preserve project will be held on Tuesday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m. Both workshops will take place inside the Havert L. Fenn Center, located at 2000 Virginia Ave. in Fort Pierce.
