The St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners will host the 9th Annual Ultimate Drive Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 13 at Fariwinds Golf Course with 100% of the proceeds going to the United Way of St. Lucie & Okeechobee.
This tournament has raised more than $400,000 over the past eight years for individuals and families in need here in our own community. This year’s title sponsors are: Dr. Shane Whiteley with Regenerative Medical Group and Jimmy Freitas, owner of The Rusty Putter and Bonner Mobile Bar. Food and beverages will be provided throughout the day and golfers will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets and participate in various contests along the course. This tournament is filling up quickly. However, there are still some sponsorship opportunities available.
The United Way is facing an unprecedented challenge of providing assistance to residents struggling in our community. All net proceeds raised from this event will stay in St. Lucie County in order to provide financial assistance to our neighbors who rely on essential services daily.
Teams are sure to fill up quickly, but hole sponsors as well as other donations are needed to make sure this event raises the necessary funds to help those in need. Sponsorships start as low as $100. Foursome sponsorships are $500. For information about sponsoring or donating raffle items, please contact: Jennifer Hance at 772-462-2376, Joy Hawthorne at 772-462-2837 or Denise Helms at 772-464-5300 ext. 102 or denise.helms@uwslo.org.
