This workshop is designed for green industry professionals who work on residential and commercial landscapes, in garden centers and production nurseries. The work can be varied and involve specialized skills in pruning, mowing, pesticide/fertilizer application and irrigation maintenance/installation.
These best management practices will teach environmentally safe landscaping practices that help conserve and protect Florida’s ground and surface waters as well as our natural resources. This science-based educational program for green industry professions is presented by the UF/IFAS Florida-Friendly Landscaping program and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
All participants will receive a total of four continuing education units credits.
Training: Thursday, July 27 from 830 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
