Class 4 (in-person) Interpreting Water Quality

  • Introduction: SLWC is a comprehensive educational and action-based program offered to St. Lucie County residents at no cost. The program includes in-person and virtual sessions to interact with water resources professionals, engage in hands-on activities, plan volunteer action projects, and conduct field studies.

Class 4 (in-person) Interpreting Water Quality: This in-person session will expand upon the concepts of water quality in St. Lucie County from class 3. We will begin the morning at Oxbow Eco-Center with a macroinvertebrate study and then travel to Becker Preserve for a water-quality kayak experience! Help to collect water quality data while on the St. Lucie River. You won't want to miss this experience!
