Shred & Protect is a free, annual event provided by St. Lucie County Clerk and Comptroller Michelle R. Miller to help St. Lucie residents conveniently dispose of paperwork that may contain personal information.

 

The next event will be held on April 19, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Havert L. Center, 2000 Virginia Ave., Fort Pierce FL 34982. St. Lucie residents will be able to bring up to three banker boxes of documents per car to be shredded on-site at the Havert L. Fenn Center parking lot in Fort Pierce.

This is a drive-up event, and Deputy Clerks will be on hand to transport boxes directly from vehicles to the shredding truck. Please follow the signs and directions of Deputy Clerks to reach the drop-off point. Secure destruction of sensitive documents is one way to aid in identity theft prevention and keep your most valuable assets safe.
