- Saturday, Oct 26 - 2-for-1 Hike! Starting at Gordy Road Recreation Area and finish at Ten Mile Creek Preserve (7:30am-10:45am) - Love bargains? This event offers a chance to hike two preserves in close proximity to one another. Our arrival features the wildflower-studded upland habitat and lake of Gordy Road Preserve, followed by the riverside trail system of Ten Mile Creek Preserve, a shaded and very scenic wind-down. Minimum age 12.

Kayak paddles are $20 per person with all equipment provided, reservations are required, and space is limited. The Guided Nature Program season runs from October through June. There are various topics, locations, and distances all designed for different ages and abilities. There are more than 11,000 acres of protected land for you to discover.
