Reptile Ramble Route

Come explore with the Environmental Resources Department through our award-winning guided nature program series.  

  • Sunday, Oct 27 - Reptile Ramble Route at Sheraton Scrub Preserve (9:30am-11:00am) - Delve into the world of reptiles as you traverse a short hike in Sheraton Scrub Preserve. Some of the reptiles you'll encounter include our beloved Gopher Tortoise - who loves scrub habitat. Well learn about their importance in our ecosystem. Minimum age 4.

Kayak paddles are $20 per person with all equipment provided, reservations are required, and space is limited. The Guided Nature Program season runs from October  through June. There are various topics, locations, and distances all designed for different ages and abilities. There are more than 11,000 acres of protected land for you to discover.
