Unveiling Vines Hike at George LeStrange Preserve

Come explore with the Environmental Resources Department through our award-winning guided nature program series.  

  • Saturday, Nov 16 - Unveiling Vines Hike at George LeStrange Preserve (9:45am-11:45am) - The Unveiling Vines Hike takes you on a journey through lush, lively wildlife, where you'll encounter a multitude of fascinating plants. Vines will wind their way through the trees as we wind our way through a 1.5 mile long hike in George LeStrange. Minimum age 4.

Visit www.SLChikes.org for more information and to register. Nature hikes are FREE, reservations are required, and space is limited. Kayak paddles are $20 per person with all equipment provided, reservations are required, and space is limited. The Guided Nature Program season runs from October  through June. There are various topics, locations, and distances all designed for different ages and abilities. There are more than 11,000 acres of protected land for you to discover.
