St. Lucie County’s Aquatics staff is now offering two 30-minute sessions of aquafit at the Ravenswood Pool on Saturdays at 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Designed for adults, aquafit classes are low-impact workouts conducted in the shallow areas of the pool and are designed to improve muscle strength, joint stability, coordination and heart conditioning. The cost is $5 per class.

Ravenswood Pool sessions of aquafit take place on Saturdays at 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., while Lakewood Park Pool sessions take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 and 10:30 a.m.
