Thanks to the support from the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners, active and/or retired military personnel can enjoy a free round of golf at Fairwinds – an 18-hole public course designed by Jim Fazio. Veterans just need to present their military ID to receive the free round.

“Through our outreach programs such as PGA HOPE and free golf on Veteran's Day, Fairwinds and St. Lucie County thank all of the men and women who have served our country,” added Fairwinds Manager Mark Cammarene, who recently received the 2024 Patriot Award from the Professional Golf Association’s South Florida Section for his support of golf programs designed for veterans.
