Bring Your Brew Birding Hike at Donald B. Moore Preserve

Come explore with the Environmental Resources Department through our award-winning Guided Nature Program series. 

  • Saturday, Dec 7 – Bring Your Brew Birding Hike at Donald B. Moore Preserve (8:00am-9:30am) - Nothing goes together quite like a thermos of freshly brewed coffee and a beautiful morning hike. Come sip and learn about some of Florida’s most important and unique bird species. This serene nature trail leads to an observation tower with a beautiful view of the Lagoon and Ocean. We’ll finish our coffee while we learn more about some of our incredible feathered friends.

 Visit www.SLChikes.org for more information and to register. Nature hikes are FREE, reservations are required, and space is limited. Kayak paddles are $20 per person with all equipment provided, reservations are required, and space is limited. The Guided Nature Program season runs from October  through June. There are various topics, locations, and distances all designed for different ages and abilities. There are more than 11,000 acres of protected land for you to discover.
