The Library Advisory Board was created by Ordinances 95-46, 2000-40, amended by Ordinance 16-XXXX

• The Library Advisory Board shall be composed of citizens with a strong interest in libraries and dedicated to the purpose of providing a feasible, adequate public library system for the county.

• Board consists of 9 members- 6 appointed by the Board and 3 appointed by the Friends of the Library

Board members shall serve 4 year staggered terms

• Quarterly meetings, January, April, July, and October, the 3^rd Monday of the month, with annual adjustments for legal holidays falling on Monday at 5:30 p.m.
• All meetings are held at the Fort Pierce Library, 101 Melody lane, Fort Pierce, FL
