Non-Profit Funding
History
In 2010, St. Lucie County Commissioners implemented a policy to allow funding to be awarded to non-profit agencies, if excess fees were received two years prior to the start of the fiscal year. In 2020, the County entered into a partnership with the United Way of St. Lucie County to administer the County’s non-profit grant program. In the 2021-2022 Fiscal Year, the Board of County Commissioners funded the non-profit grants administered through the United Way at $606,814.
Grant Cycle
The St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners’ 2022-2023 Fiscal Year Non-Profit Grant Program will open Thursday, Sept. 1 at 9 a.m. and will close Friday, Sept. 30 at 5 p.m.
To better assist applicants with this process, the United Way will be holding a mandatory Application Workshop on Wednesday, Aug. 31 at 9 a.m. to register for this event please click here.
All grants will be required to be submitted using the United Way of St. Lucie’s online system, e-Cimpact, the agencies will need to register for this system in order to use it, if they have not already done so. Please click here to register for this online system.
