An "inactive" or "blocked" status indicates that your library membership needs to be verified in Kanopy. Kanopy may periodically ask you to reenter your library card information to verify that their library membership is active.

First, please complete these steps either on the website or in the mobile app to reactivate your library membership on your Kanopy account.

Then, if you also access Kanopy on a smart TV or streaming device, here are the steps to re-link your account with the TV app to refresh everything:

  1. Launch the Kanopy app on your TV or streaming device (you'll need to log out first) and select Log In. A 6-digit code will appear on your screen automatically.
  2. In a web browser using a different device, go to kanopy.com/link and enter the 6-digit code. (If prompted, log in to your account.) Select Link Device.
  3. Your TV screen will refresh. You are now logged in and can browse and enjoy titles!
