Sessions are approximately 2 hours each and $5 per participant, minimum 10 participants.
Wildlife Friends & Foes Grades K - 5It's wild out there! Meet St. Lucie's backyard wildlife! Compare local native, exotic and invasive plants and animals and how they behave in ecosystems. Are they friends or foes? Can we all learn to get along? Meet the live Oxbow wildlife ambassadors and investigate an assortment of taxidermy, bones & pelts. Take a wild hike and identify live plant and animal species in the Oxbow Preserve. |

Watershed Wonders Grades 3 - 5Be a wetland scientist in this hands-on program! Discover how humans have altered Florida's watersheds and how to protect them for the future. Students will observe live aquatic species, collect data and evaluate biodiversity while exploring aquatic habitats and the watershed on the Oxbow Preserve. Discover how water travels through ecosystems with an interactive watershed scientific model. |
