St. Lucie County has three disc golf courses at county-maintained parks and preserves that are open to the public for free play during daylight hours.

Disc golf is similar to regular golf; however, instead of hitting a ball with a club, players toss various sized discs at baskets (holes), keeping score by marking each stroke/throw. Players are required to bring their own discs.

Lakewood Park Regional Park

Created in 2018, this 18-hole course was designed using Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) standards with help from volunteers from the Treasure Coast Disc Golf, a local nonprofit group. The course is regulation size and will have the ability to host major disc golf tournaments. Club Member Mark Baldwin designed the 18-hole course, while other members helped to install the 18 holes (baskets) throughout the 156-acre multi-use sports complex.
