brown chicken with eggsThe St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners approved the permanent Backyard Chicken Program to allow the keeping of chickens for an occupied, single- family residential zoned district property in RE-1, RE-2, RS-2, RS-3, and RS-4, excluding the River Park Subdivision, within the unincorporated areas of the County. Please see the information below for answers to some common questions.
