Healthcare Comprehensive Emergency Management Plans
CEMPs
A Healthcare CEMP is the overarching plan that details a facility’s operations when an emergency has occurred. It is essential this plan is thorough, practical and meets all appropriate requirements set forth by the regulatory agency. A CEMP is truly a document that can save lives which is why it warrants a need for annual review and maintenance.
As a reminder, Assisted Living Facilities and Nursing Homes must submit a CEMP and an Emergency Environmental Control Plan (EPP) for annual review to St. Lucie County Emergency Management. A listing of facilities with valid CEMPs and EPPs can be found here.
