The REP Division handles all aspects of planning, training, exercising and responding to an incident involving radiological materials at the St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant. Since St. Lucie County is home to one of the two operating nuclear power plants in the state of Florida, the St. Lucie County Public Safety Department dedicates a division to the management of radiological emergencies.  

Although a radiological emergency at the St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant is unlikely, it is essential that St. Lucie County and its residents thereof, be prepared. Your health and safety is our highest priority!
