Butterfly Bliss Trail Walk at Citrus Hammock Preserve

Come explore with the Environmental Resources Department through our award-winning guided nature program series.  

  • Saturday, Nov 2 - Butterfly Bliss Trail Walk at Citrus Hammock Preserve (6:00pm-7:00pm) - Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of butterflies as we stroll through a short hike in Citrus Hammock Preserve filled with these delicate and colorful creatures, learning about their life cycle and behaviors. Minimum age 4.

Visit www.SLChikes.org for more information and to register. Nature hikes are FREE, reservations are required, and space is limited. Kayak paddles are $20 per person with all equipment provided, reservations are required, and space is limited. The Guided Nature Program season runs from October  through June. There are various topics, locations, and distances all designed for different ages and abilities. There are more than 11,000 acres of protected land for you to discover.
